Looking back:
All previous poses utilize the over 2000-year-old Archimedes' principle in the same way.

All previously known buoyancy poses work with enclosed air following the Archimedes' principle. In this process, the displaced volume of the float is pushed upward against its gravity. The deeper the float is pushed or pulled towards the bottom, the greater the buoyant force.

This means:

You have to choose the right pose from a variety and balance it precisely with lead weights before casting.
The bite resistance inevitably increases when the fish wants to dive with the bait

The buoyancy force increases the deeper the pose dives...
with all the undesirable effects.

The Clever Floats utilize the Archimedes' principle in a flexible manner.

The AirControl system

The Clever Float is a so-called hydrostatic lifter. It doesn't float in the water – it hovers on a compressed air cushion. This air cushion can partially or entirely escape as needed, causing the Clever Float to sit deeper or even sink to the bottom. Das wird durch das AirControlSystem geregelt. What anglers say about the Clever Float

I've also started fishing with the Clever Float. At first, I practiced without bait and tested its casting behavior. My initial impressions are very positive.

What's fascinating is the sinking aspect. I can position the float and then I can let it sink. Right at the spot where I want it to be.

By filling it with water, you achieve a greater casting distance. And with the slight tugging, you can adjust the float height just the way I want it.

Fishing with it is really enjoyable. It's great that you can use it both on the surface and at the bottom. I don't need any more weights. Plus, I don't have to carry as much gear because I can do everything with the float.
